In July 2026, a working group of the DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, German Research Foundation) on resilience in research published guidance and recommendations regarding attacks on research and its academic freedom.
Topics which will also be focused on at the BayWISS Annual Colloquium on 29th October. The 12-page document can be found here, both in German and English: "Position paper on Strengthening the Academic Freedom and Resilience of Research"
