It sees its location in the heart of Europe as the basis for intercultural thinking and international orientation: The OTH Amberg-Weiden currently cooperates with approx. 72 partner universities across 33 countries.

In 26 Bachelor’s and Master’s degree courses the OTH Amberg-Weiden offers its students in four faculties (Mechanical Engineering/Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Industrial Engineering and Health, as well as the Weiden Business School) a wide and established range of courses, which, together with the economy, are defined in a demand-orientated manner for the job market and at the same time are internationally focused. All Bachelor’s degree courses are also offered as dual study programmes, and some as on-the-job degree courses, such as the Bachelor’s degree in Retail and Service Management and the Master’s degree in Applied Business Psychology. The Weiden location distinguishes itself with degree courses such as Medical Technology, Retail and Service Management or Logistics and Digitalisation. This is also reflected in the numerous success research projects and the growing research strength of the university.
